VGT vs SCD Ultimate Confrontation

VGT and SCD proudly present the first annual Ultimate Confrontation. Both sites have active participation in their leagues and forums so why not have an official confrontation while having some fun doing it!!!
The event will be set up with 5 players from each side in round robin format versing the 5 players from the other side in best of three style. However, who those five players are going to be is still a mystery because you the members are going to vote for them! The first step of this event if going to be a thread where players can assign their allegiance to a particular site. That thread is located here on VG;

Any player that wants a chance to participate in this event must post in one of these threads simply stating which side they would be willing to play for! Both is not an option. :)
Players will be given one week from Thursday, July 31st to Thursday, August 6th to post in either thread to register themselves for a chance to participate. This is where everyone else on both websites comes in. On August 6th, the Staff of each website will go through the applications and pick 10 people from each side and put the vote up to the public.
That's right, the final 5 players of each side are going to be picked by the communities of both sites! You want to see the showdown of the year?! You can make it! Each member of each site gets 5 votes (that's right you can pick all 5, not just 1) to put on the players they want on their respective dream teams and the players that land the most votes will be playing each other! That voting will take place from Thursday, August 6th to Thursday, August 13th.
This event will officially launch on Sunday, August 16th, but stay tuned for more details on rules, prizes, and participants in the near future.
