VIRUS
Game type: Use Map Settings
Map size: 128x128
Players: 5 Players. 2 Terran, 2 Zerg, 1 Protoss.
Map Preview:
2 people antidotes (Terran) 2 people Viruses (Zerg) 1 person body (Protoss). The Body’s units are the weakest, Antidotes units are a little stronger, and Virus’s are the strongest since they have to play 1v2 (technically 2v3)
Antidotes are spawned at the top, Viruses are spawned at the bottom, and the middle of the map contains the body that has defensive buildings surrounding each of their main but not the most priority buildings. (priority is the heart and brain)
THE VIRUS:
- Units will spawn at their base at the bottom of the map at the main virus building
that is protected by 2 Spine Crawlers.
- The virus has 30 minutes to attack and kill the heart or brain.
- For every 3 main buildings they kill, 4 minutes will be added on to the clock. (buildings will include Wrist, Elbow, Ankle, Knee, Thigh, stomach and Spine who all have large HPs. Defensive buildings are not included)
- Units will upgrade by amount of kills. Here are the units for each upgrade:
0 - Zergling
100 - Hydralisk
250 - Roach
600 - Infested Terran
900 - Ultralisk
1400 – Brood Lord/Corruptor
THE ANTIDOTE:
- Units will spawn at their base at the top of the map at the main Antidote building that is protected by 2 Bunkers with 8 ghosts inside (you are unable to take the ghosts out)
- Antidotes have to protect the heart and brain with the body for 30 minutes and protect the main buildings so time is not added onto the clock.
- With the help of the body, the Antidotes win the game by protecting the heart and brain for 30 minutes (or longer depending on how much is added onto clock) or by killing and destroying the virus’s main building.
- Units will upgrade by their kills. Here are the units for each upgrade:
0 – Marine
100 – Ghost
250 – Reaper
600 – Siege Tank
900 – Marauder
1400 – Hellion/Thor
THE BODY:
- Units will spawn in the centre of the map in front of the heart.
- With the help of the antidotes, the body wins the game by protecting the heart and brain for 30 minutes (or longer depending on how much is added onto clock) or by killing and destroying the virus’s main building.
- Body needs to protect its main buildings so time isn’t added onto the clock.
- for every 3 minutes the body goes without letting a main building get destroyed, the body gets 1 probe and 600 minerals to rebuild some defensive buildings.
- Units will upgrade by their kills. Here are the units for each upgrade:
0 – Zealot
100 – Stalker
250 – Immortal
600 – Dark Templar
900 – Colossus
1400 - Archon
Specials for Antidote and Virus
For every 250 kills, you will get 2 civilians to use on the specials. The specials are:
- Increase speed rate of spawning units.
- Minerals to upgrade attack/armor.
- 20 second freeze on one of the enemies spawning. (Random between the 2 players)
- 10 second invincibility for army.
- Super units or heroes.
- cuts the opposing army’s HPs in half (only effects a unit once)
- Takes you to a small island and to get rid of 3 of the enemy’s civilians you need to put a Zealot, Marine, and Zergling onto the 3 beacons in the correct order (The code is random every time. Zealot Marine Zergling, Marine Zergling Zealot, etc) Your civilian dies if you do not get the correct order or code and nothing happens. If you get the code right, 3 of the enemy’s civilians are killed.
