Just an idea which could be taken a lot further once the game and battlefield become visual. Being able to customise your teams is something that would be fun. Ideas such as being able to create team logos, the name colours, clothes colours of your units, additional novelty items which could be brought and given to units to make them look different in battle, and so on, the possibilities are endless, and who doesn't love customising things.
All of this could of course cost CR, giving players more incentive to play more and earn more. |

Graphically, you won't be able to change their armor. That is because they're already changed depending on their class. For example, a light/heavy marine will have less/more armor than the regular marine. If a player was allowed to change the appearance so drastically it would cause confusion. Colors will be assigned randomly upon training the unit, and will not be able to be changed.

No no, I meant 'give them better armor' as in 'raise their armor stat'. So let me rephrase that: if I would have a choice how to spend CR between buying something purely cosmetic / for customization or upgrading my units battle performance I'd probably choose performance. That is, of course if any customization changes will be available to buy with CR.

Well when u have 20k+ sitting around with nothing to spend it on because of upgrade max then this becomes very appealing. Not to mention that adding price to it makes it more prestigious and will make people want it even more.
Well obviously the changes allowed would not be drastic changes, as much as is reasonable without causing confusion, and I think that would still give a fair amount of room to work with. I think it is strange that you have already decided to not allow colour changes, it is a simple way to customise that would not cause any confusion and will allow people to at the very least have some control over the appearance of their team, which I think is an aspect that a lot of people will want to play around with. |

I have that sitting around atm matter of fact. There is no point getting a higher recovery rate at the moment because I can't win any battles that gain me more than 1cr/exp anyway, and I already have a higher synergy than any other team in the game...
Perhaps once the games is balanced right I will have some more things to spend my cash on, but for the moment there is nothing for me to use my money on other than my farms to make more money which I will have no use for... |

STRIFE noob, lol look at the forum path :P
silly jessica, use ur credits to level up different units to change ur team. I have a noob tank as well, but I'm switching the units out asap. 5-6 more days and I should be sitting pretty :) I can only get 1 xp per battle on 6[nk] now too.. and I'm still 2nd place. Because recovery = 3 hours and I have 15 battles :) Gogogogoggo Adapt, grow stengthen GOGOGOGGOO Play Strife Online, Good Luck ;) |

You've got room for 8 teams. A 2 units team leveled up all the way to 10 can be sold for about 950-1000 credits. It just take something like 4-5 days if you don't miss much hourly free exp (with a zerg team for better recovery), of course you'll perhaps need some upgrades to win the fights you need to level up (or you can rely almost fully on "exercises" and beat the crap out of a level 1 team, too), but not a big deal compared to the income it produces.

Anybody who cares enough about strife to be in this topic deserves the benefit of my common sense :)
LEVEL UP TEAMS WITH FIVE UNITS ON THEM. You get credits for your units XP, and your teams XP. So.. when you level up teams with 5 units, you're getting double the exp (5+1) you would with 2 units (2+1) [two units, one team.) Double the exp = double the credits, since the credits u receive are based on experience. Play Strife Online, Good Luck ;) |

Figured all this out already, but she has fucking 20k. I've been sellin teams and decided firebats are the best after level 20 (maxed out) and zealots are the best up till 15. (Speed upgrade will mean attack 2x more than other heavy units)
Any ways, I can't figure out how to level up to 10 in a day. I'll figure a way to abuse. 100% i spend less time than you guys tho. I just know how to abuse :) Property of Silent.Harmony- If you sometimes feel a little useless, offended or depressed...
