How much higher can a unit lvl be than team level?

I just leveled up a new team to level 4 so it can have 5 spots, and am considering bringing a higher level unit (tank) into the team, but don't want to find out that I can't and just waste the recovery on two teams if it isn't even possible. So, is there a restriction on what level unit can join a lower level team?

Yup : a unit can only join a team of its own level (or higher).
You may see teams including units of higher level, two reasons to that : - up until recently the feature, although implemented, didn't function properly - adding/removing a unit from a team make its current level xp drop (somewhere between 1-5% it seems), but doesn't affect the units. So a unit incorporated in a team since the beginning can get more xp than the team, and possibly several levels more. |
